This unique event assembles voices from both sides of the prison system to candidly discuss the challenges that make reentry such a difficult hurdle. Our ultimate goal? Finding and replicating solutions that work.

WURD radio program discusses mass incarceration of women and related issues with Holly Harris of the U.S. Justice Action Network.
WURD talks to Steve Gotzler, who facilitates a mentoring program for recently released prisoners. The Pennsylvania Prison Society Program pairs prisoners with mentors to help support them through the challenges of reentry reintegration.
Solomon Jones discusses recidivism, the challenges that perpetuate it and Philadelphia’s multilevel plan for combating the issue with Reentry Coalition’s Julie Wertheimer and Cecily Bradford Jones.
Susan Burton is the founding Executive Director of A New Way of Life Re-Entry Project, which operates homes and programs in South L.A. for women recently released from prison. She explains how she turned her life around after prison and addiction and then went on to help others do the same.
Jeff Clayton is the Policy Director of the American Bail Coalition. He joined Stephanie Renee to discuss the bail system and Senator Sessions as the potential new US Attorney General.
